El niño Lord.Cah began making music in 2020, writing lyrics over rap instrumentals found on YouTube. A self-taught multidisciplinary artist, he designs the visual identity of his own projects. In 2023, he released his debut album Viejas verdes, shaped by influences from Bukowski to Tchaikovsky. His style blends raw poetry, melancholy, and unfiltered energy. He invites listeners into a world of contrast, where light and darkness coexist.

Sila Lua is a Spanish artist whose musical style—hard to categorize—blends elements of Spanish urban music with electronic rhythms. She began her career in 2017 while studying in London. Since then, she has released two EPs and a debut album in 2022. In 2023, she launched the Rome Tour, a nationwide tour across Spain with an all-female band. Some of her tracks can be heard in soundtracks for films and series, including the Spanish hit show Elite.

Herminia Loh Moreno, known as Restinga, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ from Tetouan, now based in Spain. Since 2022, her solo project has blended organic rhythms, electronic textures, and Mediterranean influences, with acclaimed tracks like “Un poquito más lento”, “Na Na Na” and “Hoy Empieza Todo”.

At 23, Maura Delgado, a Cape Verdean artist from Massachusetts, blends R&B, Afrobeat, Jazz, and traditional Cape Verdean sounds. Since her debut project The Camp EP in 2022, she has performed across three continents and seven cities, captivating audiences with her soulful voice, magnetic stage presence, and artistic authenticity. Her music reflects a unique mix of cultural influences and a genuine connection with listeners.

Selma Uamusse is a Mozambican singer whose music blends spirituality, activism, and contemporary Afro sounds. Her debut album Mati (2018) explores her Mozambican roots, while Liwoningo (2020) moves between afrobeat, rock, electronica, and traditional music. With a powerful voice, she promotes a vision of freedom, harmony, and solidarity. Each concert is a vibrant ritual, mixing introspection and collective energy.

Legendary band Tabanka Djaz from Guinea-Bissau, formed in 1988, is a key player in gumbé music, blending local traditions with modern sounds. Their album Sperança achieved international success, earning multiple gold records in Portugal. After a hiatus, they came back strong in 2014 with their founding members, maintaining their energetic stage presence and securing their status as a cornerstone of African music.

Maâlem Omar Hayat is a major figure in the Gnawa revival, combining guembri mastery with a modern touch. Trained by the legendary Mahmoud Gania, he founded his own band in 1991, developing a unique style that blends tradition, jazz and reggae. A regular on major stages such as the Essaouira Gnaoua Festival, he has collaborated with international artists. A passionate craftsman, he builds his own guembri as a symbol of his dedication.

Nashwa brings together Moroccan singer Ghizlane Melih and Belgian producer Alix Pilot in a unique fusion of tradition and modernity. Inspired by Egyptian and Moroccan classical music, Ghizlane offers a lyrical, captivating voice, while Brussels-based Alix crafts organic bass music rooted in dub and electronic scenes. Their project, at the intersection of acoustic and electronic worlds, invites a joyful, universal trance. Their debut album will be released in spring 2025.

Drawing on the rhythms and melodies of Ahwash, Rwais and Gnawa, they create original and captivating music. Zolani Mahola is a South African singer and musician whose art is rooted in activism for equality, education and ecology. Zolani Mahola & the Feminine Force was born from her belief that it takes more than one person to “shake the soul of the world.”

Masters of upcycling, they build their instruments from recycled materials — barrels, metal, everyday objects — to create powerful, unique grooves. Their Lingala-sung music carries messages of hope and perseverance to Kinshasa’s youth. Since their European debut at Trans Musicales in 2022, they’ve been setting stages ablaze with raw, contagious energy.

Founded in 2020 by cultural producer Charly Maïwan, Kin Orchestra is an all-female band from the Democratic Republic of Congo. First revealed at the FIMAD Festival in Dakar, the group captivates audiences with its vibrant universe and unique musical interpretations. Since its creation, Kin Orchestra has performed at numerous festivals and venues in Kinshasa. In 2023, the group played in Paris, and in April 2024, proudly represented the DRC at MASA in Abidjan.

Les Mamans du Congo is a daring project born from the meeting of Mama Gladys — guardian of Congolese Bantu lullabies — and French beatmaker Rrobin. Together, they mix traditional Lari chants, hip-hop and electronic music to tell, through words and movement, the stories of today’s Congolese women. On stage, recycled-object percussion and hypnotic rhythms create a performance both rooted and modern. A hybrid, committed project where tradition and innovation beat as one.

Jamila & The Other Heroes is a Berlin-based band of diverse origins blending psychedelic desert rock with political engagement. Led by German-Palestinian singer Jamila Al-Yousef — born the day the Berlin Wall fell — the project draws on stories of struggle, diaspora and liberation. Singing in Arabic and English, they celebrate freedom and resilience with powerful instrumentation mixing Arab percussion, psych guitars and driving rhythms.

Palestinian pianist, composer and singer Isam Elias, born in Nazareth, shapes music at the crossroads of worlds. As co-founder of Ghazall Band and Zenobia, his solo work interweaves Oriental melodies, synthesizers and Afro-Oriental pulses.

La Louuve embodies a new generation of underground, engaged and free music activists.

Seba Kayan is a Vienna-based DJ, artist, and producer who blends her European and Kurdish roots into a hybrid sound where Eastern rhythms meet electro, techno, and acid with tracks like Tencere as a prime example. She has performed at major international festivals including Donaufestival, İÇ İÇE Berlin, Jupiter Disco New York, and Sonic Territories. Orwa Saleh, a Syrian oud player based in Austria since 2012, reimagines the melodies of his homeland through contemporary, innovative collaborations. Together, they unite their talents in the Hadra Rave project — a unique fusion of Moroccan traditions and electronic music where Gnawa chants, guembri rhythms, and percussion converse with modern samples and textures. Created for the 20th anniversary of the Hadra association, the project blends spirituality, trance, and dance, supported by an immersive scenography inspired by Moroccan rituals and landscapes.

The LAPS DE TEMPS project is, above all, the meeting of two artists from completely different musical worlds. Their first encounter took place in 2022 at the Visa For Music festival in Rabat. In this unique project, the two artists merge their styles to create a contemporary, truly timeless soundscape, proudly celebrating and preserving Morocco’s musical heritage.

Founded in 2015 in Cotonou by seven young musicians, IFè Brass Band aims to preserve the rhythms and percussion at risk of disappearing in Benin. By fusing modern instruments (trumpets, trombones, saxophone, sousaphone) with traditional percussion and reconnecting with the historic heritage of Yoruba, Goun and Fon ritual songs, they create their own unique world. On stage and in the streets, IFè Brass Band invites audiences to discover ancestral, enchanting sounds infused with jazz harmonies.

Major actor of the Guinean culture, the National Djoliba Ballet is a dance and music troupe created in the 60s under Ahmed Sékou Touré. Its current members are the heirs of a rich history, since their predecessors were gold medalists of the francophonie in 1994, and of the Pan-African festival of Algiers in 1965. Monument of the live performance in Guinea, the National Ballet Djoliba builds its shows from the tales of the Mande, thus contributing to shine the Guinean culture on the international scene.

The Bana Batéké orchestra began its journey on 12 September 2007 in Brazzaville, Congo. Often referred to as ‘traditional-modern music’, the orchestra’s pieces constitute a contemporary interpretation of the musical heritage of the Cuvette-Ouest. Named best tradi-modern group of the 4th edition of PRIMUSIC 2008 and vice-champion of the 1st edition of REVELATION 2010, the orchestra Bana Batéké puts Congo in the spotlight beyond national borders, in Japan, in 2016, and in Dubai in 2022.
